Samsung is one of the biggest smartphone maker in the world and it looks like it has moved over from the recent Note7 fiasco and onto its next flagship device. The rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S8 have been doing the rounds on the Internet and the recent leak suggests that it will be packing massive hardware specs.

The company is gearing up to launch its new flagship device and the rumor mills are constantly churning out new leaks. The recent leak, which was posted on Weibo in China, suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage. It is a huge jump from the Samsung Galaxy S7 which came with a 32 GB storage, but it’s still not sure if the 256GB storage will come with a larger variant or the standard variant.

The 6GB RAM is a clear step in the direction of the current trends but just because the smartphone comes with a massive RAM doesn’t mean it will perform better. There are many other variables the performance of a device depends on!

Samsung Galaxy S8 – Other Features

Currently, there is no confirmation on any specs about the flagship device but there are several leaks suggesting awesome features and hardware on the smartphone.

It is reported that it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor or an Exynos 9 Series CPU to complement the hefty 6 GB RAM which will make sure that the smartphone gives awesome performance while not consuming all the battery power.

It is rumored that the smartphone will feature a much improved design, powerful specs and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that will allegedly be able to detect a finger type through glass. This means that there won’t be a traditional home button and instead of that, the smartphone will feature a small piece of glass in the front.

This will offer fingerprint security and the removal of the home button will offer more space meaning the screen will likely be more bezel-free.

Hopefully, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be much better than the previous iterations and they will be paying more attention to the quality control as they can’t afford another Note7 scene.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be revealed at Mobile World Congress in February 2017!
